VISION
Buenos Aires Tango Society is an Argentinean Tango school based in the centre of Amsterdam, the school is directed and founded by the dancer Manuela Rivero. Manuela Rivero is a young professional argentinean tango dancer. She studied intensively over recent years in Buenos Aires. Manuela has been teaching and performing internationally in the last years in many tango and contemporary dance productions and dance festivals in Europe, Asia and South America.
Our teaching community is made up of a group of talented and creative professionals, who are passionate about creating the best tango school in Amsterdam. Buenos Aires Tango Society offers the tools and support necessary for our students to reach their full potential.
We offer a number of Argentine Tango classes from our Introductory Class, which is perfect if you’ve never danced the Tango before, all the way to our Advanced Class and also we offer a program of other dancing disciplines as a support to the tango dancer such us: ballet, stretching, jazz, yoga etc.
All our classes are designed to properly prepare you for the next level, either within our Tango school or elsewhere. It’s our aim to help you achieve the level of skill you want to reach, and our experienced Argentine Tango teachers use their years of expertise to help you constantly improve your technique and understand the tango culture.
Our friendly & supportive staff of professionally trained teachers and our very popular classes are perfect if you want to learn authentic Argentine Tango and make lots of great new friends along the way!

GROUP CLASSES
all levels
Follow our 5 week intensive courses starting every month. We offer courses from beginners till advanced levels.
CHOREOGRAPHY CLASSES
We offer choreography classes for the students who want to explore Tango as a performing art, preparing the students for Tango performance on stage.
LADYSTYLING
We often organize Ladystyling workshops, bootcamps and weekends special for ladies to improve their technique and lean beautiful Tango ornaments.
WORKSHOPS & TANGO HOLIDAYS
Follow our special workshops with guest top international teachers who often visit our school.
We also organize Tango Holidays in Europe where you can learn Tango intensively combined with a great holiday.
CORPORATE EVENTS& SHOWS
For your party or event we can offer Tango Beginners Workshops, tango shows with one couple or more and with live music.
We also produce Tango shows often presented in theatres.
PRIVATE CLASSES

How to register for a course?

Please check our event list and than fill in our registration form

Within 4 days you will receive a confirmation email from us about your registration and payment information. By that time we are already looking forward to seeing you in class.

What is the price of a course?

5 hour monthly courses ( 1.15 m class) -55 euro / 65 euro ( 1 hour 30 minutes class)

Single Class- ( 1 hour class )- 15 euro / 20 euro ( 1 hour 30 minutes class)

Trial Class- Free

Tango Fitness single class- 15 euro

Tango Fitness 5 class Package- 60 euro ( valid 10 weeks)

Tango Fitness 10 class Package- 110 euro ( valid 20 weeks)

Payment

The Payment should be done before the class, after sending us your registration we will send you the online payment details by email. You can also pay cash in the 1st class of the course.
How should I wear?

Beginners Courses: All clothes are accepted, bring comfortable shoes, for ladies preferably high heels and for men avoid rubber sole shoes

All other courses: All clothes are accepted but we advise you to bring tango or ballroom dancing shoes.

Choreography Classes: Sport clothes, dance sneakers or tango shoes.

Tango Fitness Classes: Sport clothes, socks or ballet shoes/jazz shoes/dance sneakers
I do not have a dance partner

You can register without or without dance partner, we will do our best to match you with another student. We often change partners in the class allowing everybody to dance
I do not have experience

If you are a totally beginner our beginners course will be the right choice for you!

I never danced Tango, can I attend the Tango Fitness class?

The tango Fitness class is a dancing workout designer for tango and non tango dancers.
I want to register to a course but I will miss the first class
-
In case you can not attend the first class of the course you can still start in the second class, we will make sure you will catch up with the other quickly.
Missing classes
-
If you miss classes you can catch up in other day of the week attending the same level class or attending our fitness classes. Catching up classes are only allowed in within the 5 week class of your course.
